the description:
Coffee arrived in the region of "Benner Meriah" in the Gayo Highlands or "Cayo Highlands" in 1908 AD, almost 200 years after coffee entered Indonesia through the Dutch, and our visit to these heights in 2015 with the European Association of Specialty Coffee was the beginning of our deepening in the secrets of coffee. This breathtaking island and its many farms, where the governors of the regions and centers celebrated us with an integrated program starting from the capital, "Banda Aceh" in the north of the island, passing through the Takengon area and ending with the Gayo Heights, which overlooks the charming Lotte Tawar Lake.
The region owns the rights to grow "Kobe Gayo" or Gayo coffee, which is a "registered classification globally preserved" and no other region has the right to grow this unique type of coffee, and coffee is grown there at altitudes of up to 1700 meters above sea level, which are the appropriate and required altitudes for coffee cultivation competent.
